FAQ’s

Thank you for visiting our FAQ’s page.  It is not uncommon for us to hear the same questions from multiple clients.  Our hope is to help you feel as well educated and well-informed as you can from the beginning of your research process straight through to the end of your remodeling projects. We hope that if you have any of these questions, that these answers are helpful to you.  Our team would like to encourage you to contact us with any additional questions you may have, or concerns about anything at all remodeling.

1.  If you hire Design / Build, do you own the design that is created for you?

Answer:  You absolutely should become the owner of your design.  When you work with Plumbline Builders, you pay us to create your design, and then the design is yours.  This is the typical practice when you hire Design / Build remodeling contractors. In the event you may decide not to hire the original builder who drew your design, you still keep the design you paid for.  Have questions about a design you are thinking about?

2.   What is an average cost to remodel a bathroom/kitchen/living room/etc.?

Answer:  Remodeling your home can be a huge expense, so it makes sense to want to know that cost up-front. As much as we would love to give a definitive answer, or even a ballpark wager, there is no way we can until we learn more about your unique project. There are so many things that factor into the cost of a remodel – age of your home, size of the space, layout changes, depth of electrical and plumbing work, etc. – and sometime we find things that we didn’t expect when we open up the walls. However, we work to keep your project at the cost we agreed upon at signing, and are transparent about how your costs change throughout the process. If you have a remodeling project and you are curious about what it could cost you, we encourage you to contact us for a free, no-obligation evaluation. We are happy to come out and take a look at what you would like to accomplish, learn more about your vision, and then provide you with a set of expectations regarding cost.

3.  How long have you been in business?

Answer:  We love when clients ask us this!  We have been in business since 1987.  This shows us the client cares about experience, knowledge and expertise, as they should.  We could not be prouder of our longevity which not only represents years in business, it also reflects hundreds of life-changing space transformations – what you and we refer to as remodels!  Decades in business also transcends many client relationships, referrals, beautiful designs and many more of each in the making.  We invite you to put our knowledge to task any time.  Ask us anything about a project you are contemplating.  We will give you the best information available.

4.  Does Plumbline Builders use sub-contractors?

Answer:  Yes.  We have a carefully selected group of sub-contractors that work with us on a regular basis.  Our owner, Roger Sirany, is very selective about who he allows to work with his company and vets each sub-contractor thoroughly and carefully before enlisting their services.  Roger also monitors feedback and performance of each sub-contractor to ensure consistent standards of quality are met and maintained. Most of the sub-contracting companies have worked with us for a long time and are an integral part of the Plumbline Builders family.  We value being able to work with the extraordinary group that we enlist because it helps us deliver a cohesive and harmonious work flow and work relationship with our clients. Most of the time our clients don’t even realize our sub-contractors are not our employees.
